Learn how to help your dive buddy when they need you the most.

Be prepared for those unexpected emergencies. Stress is a major contributor to rescue situations and diving accidents. Through this course you will learn accident prevention, as well as how to handle problem situations if they occur. The program is about avoiding, recognizing and solving problems on the surface and underwater.

The course runs 3 - 4 sessions in which you will participate in academic, in-water sessions in the pool, and open water.

Required Equipment:

• Full set of dive and snorkeling gear (dive gear can be rented $50)

Student Prerequisites:

• Minimum age 12 years old
• Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver or higher
• Current 1st Aid, CPR,  AED, Oxygen Provider
