TDI Sidemount Diver Course
The TDI Sidemount Diver course is designed for divers who want to learn how to safely and efficiently dive with cylinders mounted at their sides instead of on their back. Sidemount diving offers better balance, improved streamlining, easier access to valves and regulators, and greater flexibility for divers who want a more comfortable equipment setup.
During this course, students will learn proper sidemount equipment configuration, cylinder rigging, gas management, trim, buoyancy, propulsion techniques, regulator switching, and emergency procedures. The course includes both academic training and in-water skill development to help divers become comfortable and confident using a sidemount system.
